Developing the investment trajectory and preparing for the end of the concession in 2037
The CNM line – the Nîmes and Montpellier rail bypass – entered service in December 2017 and is operated under a public-private partnership (PPP) arrangement. The contract covers the construction of the line as well as infrastructure maintenance for the subsequent 20 years (2018-2037).
This assignment is part of the phased preparation for the end of the concession in 2037; it aims to equip Oc’via Maintenance with methods and tools to objectively determine the best asset strategies to adopt in order to meet the needs of the various stakeholders.

Over a six-month period, developed the investment trajectory and formalised deliverables for all technical domains, based on the client’s asset inventory.
“The approach is structured and methodical. Naturally, it entails an internal commitment and the prior collection of input data regarding the assets. Breaking the project down by subsystem made it possible to sequence data integration and optimise deliverables throughout the process. Following the creation of the overall summary, the training provided enables us to master the features of the Eqylibr tool and model various asset management plan scenarios.”
