For the bridge networks managed by Infrabel and SPW-MI, our long-term investment scenarios – which tracked projected changes in asset condition and network risk – helped inform strategic choices by identifying a target annual budget and optimising budget allocation. For SNCF Réseau, modelling the condition of the national rail network and scenario modelling of investment trajectories helped secure an additional €1.5 billion in investment to combat infrastructure ageing.
