Support for the implementation of a CMMS

The digitalisation of maintenance is a key priority for SEFA. The electricity distribution network and the power generation plants were the first assets to benefit from the CMMS. Subsequently, other infrastructure, such as public lighting and district heating systems, was integrated into the system.

The objectives of this assignment were as follows:

• Management of electrical grid assets within the CMMS;
• Management of power generation plant assets within the CMMS;
• Management of maintenance interventions on the electrical grid;
• Management of maintenance interventions at power generation plants;

Project deliverables:

• Comprehensive inventory of assets and sub-assets for entry into the CMMS;
• Development of checklists for preventive and corrective maintenance activities;
• Establishment of asset hierarchy and prioritisation of maintenance tasks;
• Workflow design within the CMMS software;
• CMMS configuration and data entry (equipment and maintenance activities);

Key figures:

150 MV/LV substations, 200 distribution kiosks and 2 hydroelectric plants entered into the CMMS.
