Context and Objectives

SIDERE manages an ageing network where asset renewal has historically been handled in a primarily reactive or opportunistic manner. Faced with the need to ensure a reliable supply and anticipate financial requirements, the utility aims to formalise its asset management approach.

The objectives are to quantify the network’s current physical condition and value, model infrastructure life cycles, and project long-term financial and technical needs using the Eqylibr® tool. Ultimately, the assignment aims to establish a prioritised 10-year replacement schedule.

Approach and Results

The assignment is carried out in two stages:

  • first, network modelling and condition assessment through data collection, benchmarking and workshops with SIDERE teams;
  • second, the development of an investment trajectory comprising two 30-year projection scenarios subject to budgetary constraints.

The deliverable serves as a decision-support tool, presenting trends in network asset condition and valuation indicators, projections of budgets and technical volumes, and work priorities.
